Gambia2
Some more photos taken on our second visit to The Gambia during November/December 2013.We went upriver for four nights with Ousman Juko guiding, visiting a number of spots including Tendaba and Janjangbureh(Georgetown).Saw more new birds and had an enjoyable time. You do need to prepare for basic accommodation. Later in our holiday we went out with George Jadama (gambiabirdguide.webs.com) guiding us and visited more new sites. George is another top guide based at the birder's hotel,The Bakotu which has great gardens with many birds, plus Monkeys, Tortoises and Monitor Lizards, and has its own short cut to the golf course which is a good birding place. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
