Some More From The Gambia
Another visit to The Gambia produced more photos with some showing here.
There seemed fewer birds around the hotel area which may be due to construction work.
Certainly birds seemed more wary than we experienced on our last visit two years ago.
The golf course was still a good place to visit for birds.
Our visit up river to Tendaba and Georgetown gave good photographic opportunities, but these were mainly at Georgetown.
Unfortunately I brought the wrong lens pack (idiot me!!) leaving behind the 1.4x and 2x extenders, so my 300mm lens was limited
but my new Canon 100-400mm mark 2 did a great job--- really a much better lens than the original 100-400mm lens.
