My wife and I spent 8 days seeking Sri Lankan endemics with Naturetrek. Our guide found all 33 birds along with many other birds some of which you can see in this gallery.Sri Lanka is a delight to travel around even if the roads can be very winding. Our hotels were very comfortable and often quite plush!

The people are so happy and very friendly-- young school children in white uniform would always wave to us and shout hello. We can really recommend Sri Lanka not just for birding, but also for any type of holiday.
My only regret is not having a ride in a Tuk Tuk!
