Botswana September 2022
Our second visit to Botswana. It seemed to us that there were changes since our pre-Covid visit in 2018. Fewer encounters with Hyaenas ( only saw 3 together once- met mainly singles) wild dogs only met briefly as a pack, again usually singles, and birds seemed less approachable, often quite far off. We did see good views of both lions and leopards and, of course, there were many encounters with elephants and with with antelopes. Photographic opportunities were fewer than expected.
